About Fraction Farms
Fraction Farms, proudly located in Corrales, New Mexico, serves to grow and donate thousands of pounds of fresh, organically grown produce to those in need each year. Beyond donating food to other non-profit charities, like Cuidando Los Niños and Joy Junction, Fraction Farms also provides nutrition education curriculum to K-12 teachers and will offer field trips to our flagship farm.
Our Plans for 2024
In 2024, Fraction Farms will be working to grow and donate over 9,000 lbs of healthy, organic produce directly to charities who serve the needy, hungry and homeless. The cost of growing this amount of produce instead of purchasing "grown produce" from a supermarket or wholesale is typically 16%, meaning we can grow five times more produce for donation than the same dollar figure could purchase at a supermarket or even wholesale. This "fractional cost" is not only where our name is derived from, it’s part of our mission to utilize the efforts and donations of a small group to help a much larger one!
What We Need
For the 2024 growing season, we’ll be growing and donating almost 9,000 lbs of fresh fruits and vegetables, which requires over 14,000 row feet of crops and almost 30,000 feet of high-efficiency "drip tape". Along with this, we’ll be investing in a new "driven well" capable of pumping 80 gallons of fresh water per minute and an irrigation system able to distribute 2.8 million gallons of water over a roughly six month period. In addition to infrastructure costs, we’ll also be growing over 1500 seedlings, starting in February, doing ground prep and direct sowing tens of thousands of plants.
To offset these costs, we’ve relied on private donations from companies and individuals that range in amount and allow for additional investment and volunteer opportunities!

Large Row Sponsorship - $770/row

Small Row Sponsorship - $340/row

Irrigation Season Sponsor -$2700
